PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet is situated inside the NovaWorld Phan Thiet tourism and economic city, Binh Thuan Province — approximately 160 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Thanks to the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet Expressway opened in April 2023, travel time from Ho Chi Minh City has been reduced to just 1 hour 40 minutes – 2 hours, making Phan Thiet a viable weekend golf destination even for same-day trips.

Both courses were designed by Greg Norman Golf Course Design — the company of golf legend "The Great White Shark" and Vietnam Tourism Ambassador. Norman applied the "Least Disturbance" philosophy, preserving the natural sand-dune landscape while creating subtle tactical challenges rather than relying solely on brute distance.

PGA Ocean Course (opened April 2021): A Links-Parkland Hybrid with ocean views from 8 of 18 holes. Rolling sand-dune terrain with pale native grasses contrasting vividly against lush Zoysia fairways. The course features "speed points" and Shark Alley — if you land the ball in the right positions, the terrain will assist the roll, sending it farther toward the green.

PGA Garden Course (opened 2022): A Classic Parkland layout inspired by Melbourne's famous Sandbelt region — Greg Norman's favorite. Water comes into play on 10 of 18 holes, with a 2-km rock stream meandering through the front nine. Steep-faced bunkers hug the greens, demanding precise iron play.

3. Are clubs and shoes available for rent?

Yes. Club rental 830,000đ–1,100,000đ/18 holes, shoes 150,000đ–200,000đ. The pro shop also features leading brands for purchase.

4. What is the dress code?

Collared shirts and golf trousers/khakis are mandatory. Tank tops, athletic shorts, and flip-flops are not permitted. Hats and golf gloves are strongly recommended.

6. How long does it take to drive from Ho Chi Minh City?

PGA Ocean — "Shark Loop" (Holes 13–15):

Hole 13 (Par 5): An elevated tee box with sweeping ocean views. Moderate length allows long hitters to reach the green in two, but demands absolute precision to avoid deep sand traps lining the fairway.

Hole 14 (Par 4): A tempting short Par 4 where players can attempt a direct drive onto the green. However, the green is guarded by a beach-style lake and complex bunkers, making eagle or birdie fragile if the drive is less than perfect.

Hole 15 (Par 5): A demanding 650-yard hole requiring endurance and sound iron strategy to approach a two-tiered green protected by natural sand areas.

PGA Garden — Hole 14 (Par 3): The course's signature hole, playing downhill over water. A three-tiered green with treacherous pin positions creates a wide gap between birdie and bogey.

PGA Garden — Hole 18 (Par 4): A dramatic finishing hole with a waterfall cascading beside the green. Players must decide between attacking the flag for birdie or playing safe to protect their score.
