Design & Architecture
This is Greg Norman Golf Course Design's (GNGCD) 104th design globally. Greg Norman declared the Cam Ranh sand dunes terrain as the "most perfect template" he had ever encountered in his career.
Links Course (18 holes): True Scottish links spirit — absolutely no trees, only white sand dunes, coastal wind, and winding fairways. Elevation change of over 50 meters from lowest to highest point.
Oasis Course (9 holes): Contrasting Garden Course style — lush green, tranquil with lakes and streams winding through 8 of 9 holes. Equipped with international-standard floodlights for Night Golf.
"Least Disturbance" philosophy: Preserving thousand-year-old sand dune contours. Bunkers designed like naturally wind-blown sand patches (blown-out style).

Tips for Playing KN Golf Links
Bring extra balls: Wasteland sand areas easily "swallow" balls on slices or hooks.
Sunscreen is mandatory: The Links Course has absolutely no tree shade — 4-5 hours of direct sun exposure.
Choose the right tee: Shark tee is for pros/single handicappers only. Average players should choose Blue or White tees.
Best season: February-May is the "Golden Season" — cloudless skies, gentle breeze, Zeon Zoysia at perfect firmness.

Signature Holes
Hole 5 (Par 4, 541 yards) — Hardest Hole (Handicap 1): Frequently plays into the prevailing wind from the sea. The tee shot must carry over a large lake on the left. The approach is extremely tense as the green is pinched between water left and a deep bunker right — safe landing zone only ~15 yards wide. The "Bogey is a success" strategy is recommended.
Hole 9 (Par 4) — The Majestic Sand Wall: Face a natural sand dune wall 60 feet (~18 meters) high right in front. With 7 different tee positions available, the design ensures playability even on the windiest storm days.
Hole 10 (Par 4) — Visual Masterpiece: A downhill par-4 heading straight toward the East Sea. From the tee, three small offshore islands are visible — a cinematic scene. The fairway sweeps from right to left, allowing golfers to use the slope for extra roll near the green.
Hole 15 (Par 4, 386 yards) — Iconic Signature Hole: The highest point on the course with 360° views of Cam Ranh Bay and KN Paradise. A 300+ yard bunker strip runs along the entire right side, ready to punish any slice. Strong headwind makes this short hole play like 400+ yards.
Zeon Zoysia: An Agronomy Revolution
KN Golf Links proudly features Vietnam's first Zeon Zoysia fairways — replacing the common Paspalum. This grass was selected for the Rio 2016 Olympics thanks to its extreme drought tolerance and low water/fertilizer requirements.
Ball sitting up: Stiff, upright blades keep the ball "standing" rather than buried deep — enabling extremely precise approach shots.
Firm and fast: The grass's firmness allows extra roll on fairways — true links character.
